The Local Governance Project – Afghanistan (LoGo) started in October 2015 and will end on 31 December 2019. The project, using funding from the European Union (EU), Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and UNDP, works in partnership with the Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG), Provincial Governor’s Offices (PGOs), Provincial and District Municipalities, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) as well as Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economy. In the period under review, the project started implementing activities laid out in the project revision (as recommended by the Mid-Term Review of November 2017 and approved by project board at the start of June 2018).
