UNDP and Australia UPGRADE Alice Ghan IDP Camp (PHOTOBOOK)

August 28, 2016

August 2016, Kabul – This week, UNDP and the Australian Government kicked off several new projects to improve life and job prospects for the 300 residents of AliceGhan, a camp for internally displaced people (IDPs) about an hour’s drive from Kabul.

Over the next five months, we will be building latrines, kitchens and boundary walls. We’ll also be training more than 100 women in various marketable skills.

Have a look at our latest photobook to see the camp, the people and some of the activities we have going on.

Work should be finished at the end of the year. We’ll update you when it’s done.
